Teleli Golf Club, previously named Mountain Springs Golf & Country Club, is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course located in Sonora, California. The course is ideally located above the fog and below the snow in historic Sonora, California.
Teleli golf course first opened for play in 1990. The course was designed by Robert Muir Graves.
Teleli is set in the scenic beauty of the Sierra Nevada foothills. The mountain views are inspiring, including a panoramic view of Sonora. Water hazards come into play on seven holes. The course has open fairways, so don't be afraid to break out the driver.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,559 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,073 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 14, a par-5 that plays to 573 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 159 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 9, a 537 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Teleli Golf Club is # 17, a 200 yard par-3.
This Robert Muir Graves designed golf course was closed the first four months of 2019 before the Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians bought it. Mountain Springs Golf Course reopened in May 2019 with new owners and a new name, Teleli. The Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians purchased the property as a resort amenity to the Black Oak Casino as well as an amenity for the community. The name Teleli is from the Me-Wuk language and translates to Black Oak.

Had a great day and course was in great shape. Day after thanksgiving it was crowded until the 3rd hole and breezed until the 17th. I recommend a cart because of the hills on course. Rarely a level lie so balance is important.

Nice course with plenty of challenges . Large greens are easy to have a very long putt or two. Lots of hill so if walking be ready for a workout.

A fun little course playing about 6,600 yards from the black tees, a friend and I were in Sonora for a wedding and decided to get out and get a quick 18 in before the main event. The course is a fun layout even though it feels at times as though there are a lot of dog leg rights to start but the layout is challenging and we found the small tips on the scorecard to be invaluable. California has been experiencing a drought for sometime now and some of the better courses are starting to look stressed but this one was in great shape, the rough was brown as expected but fairways were in good condition and I suspect don't get too much play. The greens however were stellar - courses on the lookout for a superintendent who knows what he/she is doing should look at this place - every green was perfect and reasonably paced, my playing partner is a member at Olympic and kept going on about how good these were. Some good holes, some great holes (17 was playing 205 over water into a stiff breeze and we both bailed out left), a good test of patient golf. Next time in that area I will definitely visit again.

With 100 degree weather the course was just about empty. It took 4 hours tp play 18 with 3 people walking. Unless you're billy goat material, GET A CART. I am the only walker every time I play. I like the exersize....

If you walk, you will hurt. Lots of HILLS and plenty of distance. # 9 and # 18 are quite the challange. Great late afternoon views of sunset and lakes on course.

New owners are really doing landscaping throughout the course. Staff was really friendly.
